TESTING PROCEDURE FOR GATE VALVE   1.0 Purpose  The purpose of this procedure is to maintain a system which identifies and plans the method, acceptance criteria and responsibilities to perform Pressure Testing of Valves   2.0 Scope  This procedure covers Pressure Testing of Gate Valve. Every valve is to be hydrostatic shell pressure tested to ensure the pressure integrity of valve body.
